The Syrian Foreign Ministry reiterates that it shot down a Turkish F-4 jet in self defense, as even Turkey itself has admitted flying into Syrian airspace. However, since Turkey is part of a sociopath alliance that’s basically the Roman Empire, it is swearing it will consult its NATO allies, as it considers self defense uh, a hostile action.

However, nothing has been concluded yet as Turkey sets to meet with its allies in Brussels on Tuesday. Ankara officially maintains its plane was in international waters, while only “briefly” being in Syrian airspace (insert snarky raunchy joke here).

“If the goal of the meeting (on Tuesday) is to calm the situation and promote stability, we wish it success.” But “if the goal of the meeting is aggression, we say that Syrian airspace, territory and waters are sacred for the Syrian army, just as Turkish airspace, territory and waters are sacred for the Turkish army,” said Syrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi.
