A class of customers have emerged that claim AT&T ripped them off by knowingly activating stolen cellphones, especially the incredibly popular gadget the iPhone and by also telling customers they have to buy new ones. Wow, how could a profit driven organization subsidized by government and who makes the rules through lobbyists possibly do that?
Anyway, the suit “alleges” (meaning AT&T screwed legions of people so now we have to use terms like “alleges”) that AT&T did all this asshatery to make millions by “. . . forcing legitimate customers . . . to buy new cell phones, and buy new cell phone plans, while the criminals who stole the phone are able to simply walk into AT&T stores and ‘re-activate’ the devices, using different, cheap, readily available ‘SIM’ cards (computer chips).”
AT&T’s paid for representatives, because that’s what they are of course, say what mouthpieces say.
Well, I recommend that this case never settles unless each and every customer that’s been ripped off is satisfied with a fair and decent form of compensation – let AT&T fry in trial and produce document after document after document of damning evidence – even if they redact most of their shit, which I bet they will, stuff will still leak out.
Another friendly reminder – there are decent people that work for and with AT&T as well. Many of the employees just want to provide for their families. It’s just a select few that have decided that they want more, and everything wasn’t good enough. Remember that.
Anyway, story is HERE.
The news keeps leaking, and we keep smiling. Truth FINALLY comes out, bit by bit. It’s taken so long!
